Shine a Light on Neurofibromatosis (NF) is an integral part of the NF Awareness Month campaign.
In recognition of World Neurofibromatosis Awareness Day on May 17, locations around the world are lighting up blue and green.
The Children’s Tumour Foundation (CTF), the leading patient advocacy and support service for people impacted by NF in Australia, uses May as an opportunity to raise awareness of NF, elevating the condition, ensuring every Australian impacted is supported and every Australian not impacted is made NF aware. NF is a genetic condition that causes tumours to form on nerves in the body, including the brain and spine.
