The Old Treasury Building Museum is a small venue. We strongly encourage groups to book a guided tour in advance. Walk-in groups will be admitted at the discretion of Management and admission will depend on other bookings on the day.

Old Treasury Building is easily accessible via public transport. To plan your journey visit ptv.vic.gov.au.
Visiting by Train
Parliament Station is the closest stop to the Old Treasury Building.
Visiting by Tram
Collins Street trams 11, 12, 35, 48, 109 (stop 8 or 10)
Bourke Street trams 86, 96 (stop 9)
Within the CBD, trams are free. Check the free tram zone here.
Visiting by Car
There is no onsite parking available, however metered parking is available in Macarthur Street or St Andrews Place. Alternatively, secure parking is available in Flinders Lane or the Park Hyatt.
Access
The main entrance for the museum is on Spring Street. Prebooked schools and groups are requested to use the middle door at the back of the building. For help planning your visit see our Accessibility information.
Conditions of Entry
Large backpacks must be cloaked at the Reception Desk.
Photography is allowed as part of your visit in exhibition spaces, however the flash must be deactivated. Please feel free to use these for your personal, non-commercial use. Ask at the Reception Desk if you wish to take photographs or film for commercial use, or fill in a Film and Photography permit request.
Food and drinks (excluding water) are not allowed in the exhibition spaces.
